IOI Payroll Services

Challenge:

Interlogic Outsourcing, Inc. (IOI) is a US-based award-winning provider of payroll and employer services. They offer scalable solutions to enable businesses of all sizes to achieve greater efficiencies and reduce bottom-line costs. They had a slightly outdated interface for their powerful payroll engine that was affecting the sales of their product.

Solution:

We communicated and explored unique selling points of our clients existing system. Afterwards we clearly identified project goals, with regular status reports, design reviews, and consistent contact with our clients. We were able to incorporate new ideas and changes throughout the scope of the project, and meet their specific needs.

Benefits:

Once we implemented new UX design and our hand-crafted TM Dev Labs interface, their revenue increased by 16% by the end of 2014. There was 22 % increase in web traffic, and 39% increase in average browsing time during the same period.

Our clients had a slightly outdated and rarely used system that made the HR personnel use Excel files to track applicants and gather new hires data.

Solution:

We created brand new applicant tracking system tailored to the specific needs of our clients that directly integrates with the existing payroll system, and provides all features needed to make the applicant tracking process smooth and easy to use.

Benefits:

Company members' productivity instantly increased while using new system. Search results are now displayed in an organized and straightforward manner. Integrated processes and easy integration with the existing payroll solution now allow users to quickly and easily access desired data.

Software for Detection of LCD Defects

Bushnell Outdoor Products

Challenge:

Bushnell has been the industry leader in high-performance sports optics for more than 65 years. Their guiding principle is to provide the highest quality, most reliable and affordable sports optics products on the market. TM Dev Labs’corporatechallenge was to make a custom software which will test LCD rangefinders for debris and defects, in order to boast our clients' leading market share in all of the sports optics categories.

Solution:

We created a custom Windows application to measure and detect debris and defects on LCD rangefinders. The basic setup consisted of a backlight to provide constant illumination into the Device Under Test. A USB camera with appropriate lens was used to image the LCD field. Application identifies the debris/defects, appropriately sizes, and determines pass/fail of the device, prints and saves the images.

Benefits:

As of the beginning of 2013, Bushnell have the ability to automatically test manufactured lenses for defects. TM Dev Labs is proud to be a part of that story.

Sales Order System Consulting, Creation and Implementation

Bushnell Outdoor Products

Challenge:

Bushnell's sales representatives without an Internet access were unable to produce sales orders and invoices when selling products in remote areas. Their main goal was improving process efficiency and establishing greater manageability in the sales cycle, with an effective automation of routine CRM tasks.

Solution:

We created a standalone Windows application that was installed on rep's laptop with it's own database. Application synchronizes all the data with the parent Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 system when connected to the network. It is designed as a complete working environment for their sales personnel available 24/7, regardless of Internet connectivity. App system was developed to deliver a greater sales process visibility and transparency, with intuitive reporting and sales analytics

Benefits:

Ability to produce invoices and sales orders for the clients in the field. Sales campaigns are delivering nearly 35x ROI, with a growing customer intelligence as an irresistible bonus. Sales managers are reporting better customer and prospect engagement capability, and better management of their efforts in the markets, delivering superior results.

SQL Express Database Replication System

Challenge:

Our clients were using Windows application with the SQL Express back end installed on their site. Usually, those are small shops without an ability to host a web server to provide their clients Internet access. The challenge was to provide their clients Internet access to their data, without having to re-design application to support hosted data environment.

Solution:

We created a replication system for SQL Express servers in order to merge the data between two different servers with the same database schema.

Benefits:

Our clients were finally given a cost free solution to be able to provide Internet access to their own consumers, resulting with a powerful source of consumer traffic and consumer connections. This method helped them increase their revenue by 11% in the next two years.

Fuzion Converter Consulting and Implementation

Challenge:

Obsolescence of software systems, a price rise of their support and transition to the new technology has always been a serious problem for companies. Process to convert clients from a legacy system to the new system was lenghty, prone to errors and very frustrating to our clients.

Solution:

The main task was not only the assistance in implementation of the new architecture, UI and testing of produced product, but also a need to inherit information from the database of the previous generation. We created and implemented a new converter that installs on the client's system.

Conversion process is smooth, more than 99% uptime, easy to understand and painless for our clients. New system can be scaled as needed, without a single point of hardware failure.
